APPLICATION DEVELOPER

DESCRIPTION: The West Virginia State Treasurer’s Office has a job opening for a Windows application developer with a strong background in supporting enterprise level applications in a high-availability environment. Responsibilities include participation in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment and operational support of the solution.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 3-5 years of work experience; experience with Visual Studio .Net; demonstrated experience with developing web-based applications using WEB API (REST), jQuery, MVC, HTML, IIS, mobile application development and SQL Server; and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff. Experience with developing financial applications and certifications in Microsoft development preferred, but not required.
